Objective:

“Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.”

As The Principal of Columbia College of Nursing, I consider myself fortunate to be a part of this educational institution where every contributor is a learner and every day is an opportunity to discover, create and innovate. I am really honored and feel very privileged to function as the Principal. We stand poised on the threshold of change in the world of education. Hence, it is very important for us to adjust the sails to face the winds of change. The nursing students today need to be equipped with knowledge, confidence and competence to attain a sense of fulfillment and understanding. We don’t use the knowledge but how we gained the knowledge that makes a difference. A person who had not studied the subjects cannot have the acumen to solve problems. I believe strongly on experience of school and college with all its problems and provisions makes a child a man. The nursing profession is one of the highly demandable position globally, salaries are stable.

I am glad that in this institution we, as educators create a safe, stimulating and learning environment for our nursing fraternity. Team stands for Together Everyone Achieves More. Build a strong and positive culture shows that authentically care about everyone in a team. Here we have classrooms where there is a positive relationship amongst nursing students and the faculty which makes it a safe and pleasant place for students. This sense of security helps students to be more confident and also leads them to respect each other. We all want to feel cared for and valued by those around us, and nursing students are no different. When students know that their teacher values and cares for them as individuals, they are more willing to comply with instructions. When it comes to the educational standards Bangalore is home to best schools, colleges, universities and Research Institutions.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” —Mahatma Gandhi

Our nursing curriculum is the one that cater the societal needs of the nursing students. We want all our students to achieve their full potential. Our task is to make it possible and our mission is to provide a platform for the same. We work to provide nursing students with differentiated support that address each student’s specific needs both academically and socially.

My sincere gratitude to my trustworthy management of Columbia Institutions for showing faith in my potential and encouraging and guiding me always. The success of any educational institution is determined by the impact it creates on the young minds because they are the ones who are going to be the pioneers of every ‘new-generation’. Being committed to growth and seeing how it makes the world better is one of the greatest joys in life. The faculty at Columbia College of Nursing are highly qualified and experienced educators who are committed to supporting each student’s learning experience through quality instruction and guidance that addresses the needs of the nursing students. I wish you to assure all my beloved students, parents that with the help of the Chairman and God’s blessings I will do everything possible to elevate this prestigious institution to greater heights.
